Infantile cerebral palsy
Innovative rehabilitation and therapy for children with infantile cerebral palsy (ICP).
Infantile cerebral palsy is an umbrella term for damage to the brain that occurs in the womb, during or after birth, and leads to motor impairments. These limitations can affect individual limbs or the whole body.
At our therapy center, we already treat several patients with ICP. The exoskeleton is very popular. Being able to get out of the wheelchair and walk upright for a while is an incredible experience for many patients. Not only is walking trained, but the joints of the legs are moved, the circulation is strengthened, the lungs are better ventilated and digestion is promoted. We also like to work with the OmegoPlus in preparation for robotic gait therapy.
